•  ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS OF DR. ABDUL REHMAN MEMON, VICE CHANCELLOR, MEHRAN UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING &TECHNOLOGY JAMSHORO.

•  The number of Technologies and Sixteen, the latest additions being Telecommunications Engineering, Software Engineering & Bio-Medical Engineering and thus MUET is the largest Engineering faculty university Pakistan. Target 2004 is Mechatronics Engineering.

•  MUET teachers are being facilitated to acquire higher qualification locally and abroad. There are 36 PhD's and 20 Teachers are pursuing ME/PhD studies abroad.

•  Pre-Entry Test for admission launched in the year 1998 and subsequently was followed by other public sector Institutions.

•  Peaceful and conducive learning climate with research oriented activities exist for quality education under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor.

•  Adherence to 75% attendance rule for undergraduate and 80% for post graduate programs.

•  ISO-9000 certification .

•  Self Finance scheme enables the University to tide over its financial difficulties.

•  Year to Year promotion of students is based on approved criteria said by the Academic Council.
